Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

So, lately I am sure that all of you know that Alabama has been getting a lot of snow lately, and has been crazy. Our first mini-blizzard was on Christmast Day! I have never had a white Christmas before, and it was just such a neat thing. We ended up spending a lof of time outside on Christmas playing in the snow and making a snowman.

This past week we got around 8 inches of snow in Huntsville. It started Sunday night and within a couple of hours we had gotten several inches. It was beautiful! Luckily, I didn't have to work until Tuesday and our weather policy at work basically says you have to be there and make whatever arrangements necessary to make it there. Even though there is snow and ice on the ground there are still sick people and people coming to the ER.

We were actually super busy this week because people were having more accidents and doctors offices have been closed. The snow has made the kids here very happy because they have not had school this entire week. The main roads here for the most part clear, but the neighborhoods and driveways are still slick.
