Superbowl Goodies

I hate to admit it, but I was pretty bored with the game and commercials last night! I guess its probably because I don't have any connection to the Packers or the Steelers, but I did decide that i would pull for the Packers. I know that most people did not like the half-time show but I really liked it haha. I love the Black Eyed Peas, but I do admit they just don't sound the same live. I liked all of the lights and effects, and I was so excited when Usher flew in! Christina Aguliera did an awful job singing the National Anthem. There is no telling how much she got paid, and I agree with what Justin said..."I hope they got their money back." I mean really, she typically has a beautiful, strong voice but last night I was so embarrassed for her. I guess I just get really aggrivated when people mess up the National Anthem.

Even though the game and commercials didn't keep my attention it was still a fun night!

Yummy Red Velvet Cupcakes!

Chilli and football just go together!
Buffalo Chicken Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 can of chicken; drained. (I used a 12.5 oz can)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (or more depending on how spicy you want it)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a sauce pan melt the cream cheese and ranch together on low-med heat

2. In a medium sized bowl mix chicken and buffalo sauce

3. First layer the chicken/buffalo sauce in the bottom of a casserole dish

4. Next, layer the cream cheese/ranch mixture. It is a little difficult to spread, but it doesn't matter what it looks like.

5. Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake covered for 20-25 minutes until cheese is all the way melted. I served it with wheat thins last night but you can serve it with pretty much any chips, or you could dry celery or other veggies. As you can tell by Justin's thumbs up in the picture it is a crowd favorite!
